What we do to keep you safe!

In Castle Donington Dental Care we put your safety above anything else. Our practice is fully compliant with the Care Quality Commission with regards to decontamination, disinfection and cross infection control and we endeavour to create as safe an environment for our staff and patients as possible.

Some of the cross infection control measures that we take in our practice are:

  • Annual training of all members of staff in cross infection control
  • Stringent protocols for the sterilisation of dental instruments and decontamination and disinfection of working surfaces.
  • Deep cleaning of the surgery between patients with approved antibacterial and antiviral agents
  • All our staff wear appropriate PPE before, during and after your visit
  • Regular cross infection control audits

Additionally, we also take a series of other measures to ensure your safety in our practice such as:

  • Digital X-rays which reduce the amount of radiation provided
  • Health and safety policy
  • Regular staff training in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
  • A clear and effective complaints procedure
  • Safety protocols for the use and disposal of amalgam

If you would like more information on how we keep you safe in our practice, please talk to a member of staff or our practice manager.
