Spyridon qualified as a Dental Surgeon from the University of Athens in 2006. He went on to complete his military service in the Greek Army, where he served as a military dentist for 1 year. After his dismissal from the army, he moved to the UK, where he worked as a general dentist, fulfilling his dream of working abroad.
His passion for dental surgery led him soon to extensive training on dental implants, both in the UK and abroad obtaining certificates in implantology from the Oxford Association of Dental Implantology and the Ministry of Health of Cuba. He then went on to complete his Master’s Degree in Dental Implantology from the University of Central Lancashire. Spyridon has been placing dental implants since 2013 and is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), and the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI). Further to his implant training, Spyridon has obtained further training in soft tissue surgery such as soft tissue grafting and crown lengthening procedures.
In 2017, Spyridon was awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education from the University of Bedfordshire and it is in his imminent plans to become an Educational Supervisor for young dentists.
When not in surgery, Spyridon enjoys acting with an amateur theatrical group, playing the piano and being in nature. Travelling is his greatest passion and it’s his life aim to visit as many countries as possible with his family and indulge in their culture and traditions. He is also a proud father of a young boy who takes up most of his spare time!
